RoughRiders Game

This is the day of the big trip to Frisco to watch the Frisco RoughRiders play it out against the Arkansas Travelers which was an awesome game but the unfortunate thing was that we left in the 7th inning. The game was very entertaining and we also received food which was a grilled sandwich with some lay chips and a lemonade. I also had some chill for dessert which is strawberry ice which is very good. I also received a red RoughRiders Cap along with a book from the RoughRiders. The game was also very interesting to me because I was betting against my friend who was going against the other team and I was betting against the roughriders. For a while it looked as though I was going to win but the Roughriders came up and scored to manage to have the same points as the other team. The bet was off because we left before the game was over.

My 4th of July

My 4th of July was not as I had planned it to be but it turned out to be a little bit fun because I had the chance to play music on the 4th. I played in a different band and I helped them out and I also played in the band that I am with right now on saturday. I had finished playing and changing into my regular clothes when all of a sudden I recieved a phone call from a cousin named manuel. He told me if I could take his spot in the band that he is in for a gig on the sunday the 4th. I agreed and They had also finished playing at a gig on saturday which it was only two miles away from where my band was playing. I got on their charter bus and we drove off. It was fun and very informative because I had learned some new songs while being with my cousins band and I had a great time.

My Future Goals

I have a lot of future goals in which I will need to complete a lot of different tasks to accomplish these goals so that I can be proud of myself. My Goals are not very simple and which a lot of work and sweat to complete and accomplish. My Goals a definite a precise and are very clear to me. I know what to do to accomplish them and I also have started on these prerequisites to clear these goals out. My goals right now are also very admirable and very dominant over any other goal that anybody might have. My goals right now are very simple to say but not easy to accomplish which are to complete high school being the top 10% and valedictorian and to go to college at OSU. These two goals are not very easy and will take some work but I will able to accomplish them with a lot of heart and spirit

The Upward Bound Dance

The Upward Bound dance took place yesterday Tuesday June 29, 2010 and it was an alright dance but not a dance you would say that everyone would like to go to but it was acceptable. The dance took place in the Magnolia Room at 8pm and it was raining at around this time. The music was not as good as I had expected it to be. All of the people sitting down seemed as though they were enjoying it, NOT. Most of the people were sitting down and I had fun by fighting with balloon swords almost throughout all of the dance. I also enjoyed the part were my friends broke a led light and I was laughing for minutes after that and I could see my friends worried faces after this had happend because it seemed as though they were going to get into trouble but they got lucky and nobody said nothing or did anything.

My handy cellphone

My handy cellphone helps me out on a lot of things. My cellphone brand is a motorola W490 sold by T-mobile with an mp3 and a voice command app. The voice command app lets you use your phone without touching it but only talking to it. My cellphone is pretty small but not as small as the razr but it is still good because it also has an SD card slot that lets you put about 2 gigabytes of music and being able to hear it with headphones or without headphones. My cellphone also offers very good reception and I am sometimes asked for my cellphone from other people who also have cellphones but their cellphones are the new cellphones so they do not get as well reception as my cellphone which is basically a Crazr but not as slick and shiny. My cellphone also has my morning alarm to wake me up to either school or to go to work or to wake up early for a weekend gig. My cellphone is a good cellphone and I am glad to have it.

My Weekend back at Marietta, Oklahoma

My Weekend back from upward bound was totally awesome. June 24, 2010 was the day when I arrived back at Marietta. I did not do much my first day back but Friday I just sat in front of my computer and watched movies and enjoyed myself and had a long sleep. Saturday I went to Denver City, Texas to go play and I had a lot of fun on the way their and on the way back. The band also got to see the world cup game of the united states versus ghana in which they lost but oh well. Thanks to the singers verizon wireless V cast we had this oppurtunity. The next day I went with my family to the sirloin stockade in Ardmore, Oklahoma and I had the chance to eat a great steak which was very delicious.

The road to glory

The road to glory is not easy but very hard and very time consuming. The things in life that are needed for us to live are simple things that anybody can get but in these tough times it has become a very hard concept to be able to get the things we really need because we focus on the things we do not really need like computers, music, and movies. People all over the world enjoy to have something to eat which everyday is becoming more and more harder to have a chance to obtain these things thanks to the gas price increase and the wasting of food of people who have more than enough while people on the other side of the planet do not have anything to eat. Being able to be in front of a grill with steaming hot meat is a fortune we take for granted and some people would take this as a really nice thing. One thing is true though, the more people get the more they want and for this reason we have to step up to the road to be able to go without the things we need and go for the necessities instead of the abundances.

U.S.A’s Victory over Algeria in the World Cup

The World Cup Today 6/23/10 was pretty amazing because the U.S team faced of against the Algerian team which went determined to win knowing little that the U.S also needed this victory. Pretty much the whole game was very normal and without much excitement until the last 4 minutes of the game in which Landon Donovan from the U.S team scored a very nice goal that made them go on in the world cup. If the U.S team would’nt of made the goal then the team would have been eliminated from the world cup. Fortunately, the U.S team has a very talented player that made a goal in the last 4 minutes of the game. Landon Donovan had the ball in front of him and about 20 feet away from the goal post and also with the goalie down so he had the most perfect goal any soccer player would want. The game was very exciting then but not in the normal time but in the additional time. The World Cup heats up and who will win the Championship.

The World Cup Drama

The world cup has taken everyone by surprise and it has made a lot of people sit in front of their television to watch and watch and watch some more. The World Cup is a really exciting thing to watch and is one of the most popular things watched on TV at the time. My teams of preference this year to win is either United States or Mexico. I would like either of these teams to win but if they don’t then maybe in 4 years they will get the chance again. I am really not a fan of soccer but with this world cup I enjoy watching soccer as I enjoy doing my most favorite thing I enjoy doing which is Playing my saxophone. I will now watch the rest of the game of Uruguay and Mexico so tune in next time and hear my critic voice of how the game was.

Fathers day weekend

My Weekend back home from Upward Bound was not as good as the first one but it was still very enjoyable. My first day back I just sat in my room in the computer and I watched some videos and then fell asleep early and I also had the chance to sleep in because my dad was going to go to work and so for that reason I did not have to wake up early the next day. I woke up the next morning and I had decided to exercise for a while so I would not be as bored. The day passed by very fast and I had to run some errands back and forth. Soon my dad arrived home from work and we did nothing for the rest of the day but just watch the repetition of the World Cup game of the teams Mexico and France. The next day me and my dad woke up early because my grandma had decided to have a cook out day in celebration of fathers day. I ate a lot that day and I felt very very full and I could barely move and after that I still had some cake. The rest of the day we talked and I went to my which is two blocks away and I slept early. The next day I helped my dad out for a while at a persons house putting sheetrock on the walls to install the cabinets my dad had built. I did not have much time to help him because I needed to get ready to come back to Southeastern.
